Karen Solomon is a musician who sings, teaches and writes. She graduated from the University of Louisiana and has worked extensively with children’s voices in Louisiana, Texas and Athens. Her work as a musical director includes productions for La Verne University and the Dallas Theatre Centre Children’s Theatre.

While living in Sydney, she wrote songs and lyrics which are found in her two self-produced CD’s, “Three Summers” and “Grace…the journey”, a theatre piece presented at the New York International Fringe Festival in l999.
Karen Solomon was a soloist in “The Story of Jazz” presented at Megaro Mousikis. “Obsession”, a track from her first CD, has been re-mixed by Greek DJ Christian Cambas and released on the independent London label, Heavy Rotation. Recently, she was chosen to attend the Cabaret Conference at Yale. Her work as a teacher and performer integrates a holistic attitude with a belief that singing has the power to heal singer and audience.
