IRENE
THEOTOKATOU
is an actor-director, writer and artist. Born in Greece and raised in
Zimbabwe, she studied theatre in South Africa and the U.K., where her
work included Trojan Women and Orestes. In Greece, she has worked in
children's theatre, both for entertainment and in education. She has
been actively involved in setting up and leading workshops and support
groups around Women's Issues and Creativity. Her commitment is to a
theatre that challenges and empowers both the audience and the practitioners.
